winters love

what’s the holiday’s without a little wham!?

this year i’ve really gotten into the *holiday* spirit- you know, it’s pretty magical living in a place where it SNOWS and all, eh? see, i’ve even put on the northern hemi vernacular- whatever it takes to get my cali friends out here!

tonight is andy’s work party and i’m pretty excited to wear this new dress for the first time. i’ve paired it with some black tights, a black blazer, pumps, and a clutch.

apparently there are going to be lots of hors d’oeuvres AND karaoke. i love and hate the latter, but it’s high time andy and i make our band debut, right? besides, if we are really going to make it big in NYC then i ought to practice more.

i’m also really embarrassed to say that i managed to buy myself a really unnecessary pair of rain boots today

i pretty much ruined my tory burch boots by wearing them in the snow so before they got too damaged (which sadly, isn’t saying much) and before i felt too guilty about ruining a $600 pair of boots, i went into a store and bought them. it can be hard to maintain fashionable footwear in the snow, but these aren’t too bad and hey- they keep my feet warm! bonus! or maybe it’s the other way around…
